Fitted Masks and More
Stephanie, an experienced seamstress and horticulturist, started sewing masks after lockdown began. At first, she volunteered with Cayuga Medical Center at Cornell making surgical masks. After Gov. Cuomo announced that masks were a requirement in public, Stephanie knew the need for cloth masks would be great. Stephanie loves being able to help others by providing affordable masks to people in our community. Stephanie and her family relocated from South Carolina in 2019. She misses the beach, but has rediscovered her love of Northern gardening. When she’s not sewing masks, Stephanie loves hiking and making her own clothing. Stephanie teaches at Quilters’ Corner where she shows students how to sew with knits.
